I just wanted to let you know that we have just put up some great classes for our Expo 2010 Doll Show. Three classes are DAG accredited, but all of them are great. Check them out and sign up soon, because space is limited.

I can’t believe that September is already here. You know what that means–The Doll Show is right around the corner. Our sales room is getting full, although we still have a couple of spaces still available. We have a lot of great classes available, so sign up now to make sure you get the class you want. I hope that everyone is working on a doll or china painting project to enter in our competition. It is always so much fun to see what everyone has been working on this past year. If you can help at the show, let me know. The more the merrier. I had better get back to work. Talk to you or see you soon.
Clyde and I got back from the Grapevine Doll Show and had a wonderful time. Karen and Glenda put on a great show. There were all kinds of new products and ideas. It was very inspiring. Everyone was in a great mood, customers and vendors alike. I was able to talk to the vendors about our show in September and even got some contracts signed. I had my necessaire trunk class and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I even bought some paper dolls and had them signed by the author and artist himself–Tom Tierney. What a treat to meet him!! I hope everyone is having a fun 4th.

I hope that everyone will be having a wonderful Easter. I have been working hard on our show stuff. We now are listing classes on the website. I am also working on getting items together for an on-line store to add as well. I need Sam to help me with the shopping cart, etc., so that will have to wait until he is out of college for the summer. I also just got the info. for two shows coming up this Fall. The Doll Artisan Guild International Convention in Hamilton, N.Y., Oct. 22-24. For more info., or to sign up, go to www.dollartisanguild.org .
